City of La Vernia Town Hall Meeting

The City of La Vernia invites citizens to offer ideas and recommendations vital to the development of the Comprehensive Plan. The meeting is open to residents of the City and surrounding areas.

Four primary topics will be addressed:

• Housing
• Revitalization of Chihuahua Street
• Economic Development
• Parks, Recreation and Open Space

The City of La Vernia would like your input on the issues and opportunities facing our community in the next several years.  Please take time to fill out the public opinion survey by selecting the “Comprehensive Plan Community Survey” link.  

The Board of Directors would like to welcome Jennifer Kolbe as our new Municipal Development District Director.  She comes to us with over fifteen years of experience in economic development.  One of her first priorities will be getting our new Municipal Development District office up and running over the next several weeks.  Stay tuned for details regarding a grand opening of our new office and an opportunity to meet with Jennifer.
